1.The U.S. tops 32.7 million covid-19 cases with more than 581,000 related deaths. The Maine CDC reported no new deaths and 244 new cases on Sunday keeping Maine’s death toll at 795 with 134 Mainers currently hospitalized. Over 43% of Mainers have been fully vaccinated. (WMTW)

2. Dr. Fauci says federal guidance on wearing face coverings indoors may change soon. When asked whether it’s time to start relaxing indoor masks requirements. Fauci replied, “I think so, and I think you’re going to probably be seeing that as we go along, and as more people get vaccinated.” (CNN)

3. Moose lottery permit applications are due in Maine on Thursday. The drawing is scheduled to take place on June 12. The hunt takes place in the fall. (WGME)
