1. 10 people, including one police officer, were killed in a shooting at a grocery store in Boulder, Colorado on Monday. A suspect is in custody. (DAILY NEWS)

2. The U.S. tops 29.8 million covid-19 cases with more than 542,000 related deaths. The Maine CDC reported no new deaths and 178 new cases on Monday keeping Maine’s death toll at 729 with 72 Mainers currently hospitalized. (WMTW)

3. Mainers in their 50s starting today are eligible to be vaccinated against COVID-19. All Maine residents 16 and older will become eligible to be vaccinated on April 19. (WMTW)

4. Spring high school sports are back after last year’s season was cancelled due to the pandemic. Baseball and Softball pitchers and catchers started their preseason routine on Monday. All other spring sports begin practice next Monday. (WGME)
