1. Trump took a victory lap yesterday. Triumphantly waving newspaper front pages that declared him “ACQUITTED,” Trump denounced the impeachment proceedings as a “disgrace” and portrayed himself as a victim of political foes he labeled “scum,” “sleazebags” and “crooked” people. (PRESS HERALD)

2. Colby College has reportedly rented out a number of rooms at a local hotel and moved a number of students there reportedly as a precaution against the coronavirus. An email sent out students stated “any member of our community who was in China in January is required to stay in isolation until the 14-day incubation period has concluded.” (NEWS CENTER MAINE)

3. The Maine Senate has voted to override Gov. Janet Mills’ veto of a bill to allow sports betting in the state. The proposal will likely be voted on by the House next week. (WMTW)
