1. Surprising even themselves, Donald Trump and his Republican rivals turned Thursday’s presidential debate into a civil and detailed discussion of Social Security, trade and immigration that left Trump to shake his head and declare at the midpoint: “So far, I can’t believe how civil it’s been up here.” Primaries will be held in Florida, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, and Ohio next week. 2. Actress and Portland native Anna Kendrick will fund 31 classroom projects at schools all over Maine this year through the online education charity DonorsChoose.org. (PH)

3. Red Claws won their fifth straight last night. They have 5 more home games for the regular season including tonight’s matchup. Ryan and Mijo will be out there djing and hosting. (BD)

4. Super rare four clawed lobster goes viral. Portland wholesaler Ready Seafood Co. acquired the unique specimen as part of its haul earlier this week. Like most odd-looking lobsters that end up in Maine, Clawdette is not bound for a dinner plate. She’s being donated to the state Department of Marine Resources. (BD)

5. Love it or Hate it here comes daylight savings time. The start of daylight saving time is 2am Sunday. 1:59:59 am will magically turn into 3am. Spring Forward! (USAToday)
