1. In accordance with a proclamation from President Barack Obama to honor the victims of the terror attacks in Belgium, Gov. Paul LePage has ordered all flags to be lowered to half-staff until Saturday. LePage said in a statement, “On behalf of all Mainers, we offer our deepest condolences and will continue to pray for the victims, their families, and the citizens of Belgium.” (WMTW)

2. Donald Trump escalated his feud with Ted Cruz on Twitter Tuesday. He tweeted “be careful” or he would “spill the beans on your wife” referring to Heidi Cruz. This coming in response to a Facebook advertisement targeted to Mormons that shows Trump’s wife posing nude. Ted Cruz denied having any involvement in the ad. (CNN)

3. The Maine House of Representatives voted 83-61 Wednesday to defeat a bill that would establish a resort-style casino in either Cumberland County or York County. (PH)

4. Malik Taylor, the rapper known as Phife Dawg died Tuesday at the age of 45 from complications resulting from diabetes. He was ¼ of the legendary hip hop group A Tribe Called Quest. You can listen to a tribute mix of his music from Ryan Deelon here. (RS)

5. The popular television drama “Prison Break” will return after six years off air. Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller will reprise their old roles. Also returning will be Bowdoin graduate Paul Adelstein. (BD)
