1. Police say about 1,900 people were escorted out of the State Theatre last night after police received a call about a man being injured during a Dirty Heads concert. The concert started at 8 p.m., and the call to police came about 11 p.m. The man was transported to Maine Medical Center, but police aren’t releasing his name, or the extent of his non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made, but police should release more information later this morning. (NewsCenterMaine)

2. With the Mega Millions lottery jackpot at a record $1.6 billion, people are snapping up tickets across the U.S. Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing will be the largest jackpot prize in U.S. history. The Powerball jackpot also has climbed. It’s up to an estimated $620 million for Wednesday’s drawing. That would make it the fifth-largest jackpot in U.S. history. (WMTW)

3. The Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers might be two of baseball’s most storied franchises, but when you think of the rivalry between those two cities, you think of basketball: Celtics vs. Lakers. 4. The Patriots improved to 5-2 on the season with a 38-31 win over the Bears in Chicago on Sunday. Mitchell Trubisky completed a Hail Mary to Kevin White on the final play of the game, but a number of Patriots defenders stopped him at the 1-yard line and prevented him from scoring. (WGME)

5. Just over a year ago, the adaptation of Stephen King’s It shook horror fandom with a $123.4 million opening weekend — the highest ever for a horror movie. Now Halloween is here to join the party. The 40-years-later sequel that opened on Friday picked up an estimated $77.5 million in the U.S. during its opening weekend. That’s not quite It levels of success, but it’s more than enough to make Halloween’s first three days the second highest for an R-rated horror movie. (Mashable)
