1. Rudy Giuliani is a target of the criminal investigation into possible illegal attempts by then-President Donald Trump and others to interfere in the 2020 general election in Georgia, prosecutors informed attorneys for the former New York mayor on Monday.

2. A member of the Capitol Police is lucky to be OK after he narrowly missed being hit by what’s believed to be part of a plane. Investigators say it landed a few feet away from him right outside the Maine State House.

3. School districts across Maine are struggling to fill hundreds of job openings. Portland Public Schools has over 50 job openings. Nationally, there are more than 280,000 fewer public school teachers than before the pandemic.

4. Gas prices in Maine keep falling. They’re still higher than the national average, but prices have dropped about $0.20 a gallon over the last week. The average price in Maine right now is $4.27.
