  1. More than 100 migrants were dropped off in front of Vice President Kamala Harris’ home on Christmas Eve.  They were outside in 18 degree temperatures until they were driven to a nearby shelter. The White House said Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is responsible and accused him of “political games.” (JN)


  1. Maine State Police are investigating the death of a 3-year-old in Lincoln County. The child’s death was reported Christmas morning around 7:37 a.m. The 911 caller told police that a child was not breathing. (PH)


  1. Friday’s storm knocked out power for over 300,000 people at its height, according to CMP.  1,301 CMP customers still do not have power as of today 6:15am. (WGME)


  1. After 2 weeks with major Friday storms, mild weather is in store for this week.  Things start to warm up on Thursday with temps in the 50s for New Year’s Eve Saturday. (WGME)


  1. A Wall Street Journal report says Netflix will start cracking down on password sharing at the beginning of 2023. Fees for sharing could be between $3 and $7.  Netflix will enforce password sharing rules through IP addresses, device IDs, and account activity. (MR)
