1. A Westbrook native serving in the Air Force was shot and killed Friday night in Arkansas while trying to stop an armed robbery at a convenience store. 23 year-old Shawn Mckeough Jr., who graduated from Westbrook High School in 2014, was a senior airman with the Air Force. Police have arrested 2 suspects. (PressHerald)

2. Someone robbed the Norway Savings Bank on Forest Avenue on Monday afternoon, police said. The robber was described as a white man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with bushy brown eyebrows. (PressHerald)

3.Signs featuring the neo-Nazi slogan, “It’s okay to be white” have been popping up near the Bates college campus. Bates College student body president Walter Washington says the signs were shocking especially in relation to the recent terror attack in New Zealand that has been linked to self-described white supremacist. 4. Basketball fans in the U.S. will bet a $8.5 billion on the NCAA Tournament this year. The American Gaming Association (AGA) predicts 47 million people will put down $4.6 billion. Almost 18 million of those people will place their wagers, worth almost $4 million at a sports book, online, with a bookie or with a friend. (Reuters)

Social networking company Myspace has apologized for apparently losing 12 years’ worth of music uploaded to its site, following a server migration error — a loss potentially amounting to 50 million songs. “As a result of a server migration project, any photos, videos and audio files you uploaded more than three years ago may no longer be available on or from Myspace,” the company said in a statement on its website. “We apologize for the inconvenience.” (CNN)
