  1. A Windham man riding a bicycle died after being struck by a motor vehicle on Route 302 in Windham on Monday night.  Roosevelt Trail was closed to traffic for more than three hours before it reopened just after 10 p.m. Police said it does not appear that alcohol or speed were factors. (PH)


  1. 13 Maine school districts are receiving a total of $13 million for 34 electric buses. Wells-Ogunquit is receiving the most funding – $4.3 million – to purchase 11 electric buses and replace most of its fleet of diesel buses. (PH)


  1. Today, a campus-wide nonperishable food drive kicks off at UMaine to benefit the University of Maine Black Bear Exchange food pantry. The pantry mostly provides food to students, but also a small percentage of faculty.  Donation boxes are setup across campus.  The drive runs until Dec. 16. (NCM)


  1. Nobody scored Halloween night’s billion-dollar Powerball jackpot, players will have to vie for the prize yet again on Wednesday, this time for a whopping estimated $1.2 billion. The jackpot is the second-largest prize in Powerball’s 30-year history, according to the lottery, just behind the record $1.586 billion win in 2016. (CNN)
