2. METH IN MAINE IS BECOMING AN INCREASING PROBLEM.  THE MAINE DEA SAYS ITS SEIZURES OF METH ARE ON THE RISE. MAINE SAW 26 METH RELATED DEATHS LAST YEAR.  JUST FOUR YEARS AGO, MAINE SAW NONE. (WGME)

3. CHICK-FIL-A SAYS IT WILL END DONATIONS TO GROUPS CRITICAL OF THE LGBTQ COMMUNITY.  THE FAST-FOOD CHAIN WILL NO LONGER DONATE TO SALVATION ARMY AND THE FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES. INSTEAD, THEY WILL PROVIDE FUNDING TO CHARITIES FOCUSED ON EDUCATION, HOMELESSNESS AND HUNGER. (TWITTER)

4. THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MAINE SYSTEM HAVE APPROVED CHANGING THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MAINE’S NAME TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MAINE AT PORTLAND.  LEGISLATURE STILL MUST APPROVE THE NAME CHANGE. (WASHINGTON POST)
