1. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders declared victory in the Democratic New Hampshire Primary Tuesday night. Sanders came away with 26 percent of the vote. Pete Buttigieg came in a close second with 24 percent. “This victory here is the beginning of the end for Donald Trump,” Sanders said. (WGME)

2. Andrew Yang pulled the plug on his long-shot presidential campaign on Tuesday.Yang’s decision came after a disappointing result in the New Hampshire primary. “I am a numbers guy,” Yang said. “In most of these [upcoming] states, I’m not going to be at a threshold where I get delegates.” (WASHINGTON POST)

3. Portland may ban landlords from charging prospective tenants application fees and other charges that can add hundreds of dollars to the cost of an apartment search. The proposal goes before a City Council committee today. (PRESS HERALD)

4. Judge Victor Marrero of United States District Court in Manhattan approved T-Mobile’s Planned takeover of Sprint on Tuesday. The merger combine the third and fourth largest wireless carriers into a new company. The new company will retain the T–Mobile name. It is expected to be big enough to take on AT&T and Verizon, and will have 100 million customers. (CHICAGO TRIBUNE)
