After all this controversy, maybe it isn’t the best idea? Kanye West isn’t making many friends in his neighborhood because of the problems people have with his dome-like prototypes. This even led his neighbors to call the cops on him.
West’s Calabasas neighbors say there has been a crazy amount of construction work going on at the property. The crews reportedly worked more than 12 hours on Saturday and Sunday, when the city only allows construction from 8 am to 5 pm. Also, the city does not allow construction on Sundays.
At least one neighbor called the cops to complain about the noise at around 7:30 PM on Sunday and found the construction crew still working on the domes. They were asked to stop working and the crew did. This is not the first complaint from the neighborhood.
If you haven’t seen a picture of the domes, here it is:

As previously reported, Kanye’s crew didn’t get permits and he was cited for violating the building code. He has until September 15th to either get the proper permits or tear down the structures. Which he obviously chose to do the opposite.
That date is coming up soon, so maybe it would just make it easier on everyone if he just got the proper permits? It’s a unique idea that could help people, but not if West executes the plan poorly and incorrectly.
