What is kitten therapy? It’s simple: cuddle adorable kittens and instantly feel better. Genius really.
On Wednesday my sister and I went to The Animal Refuge League Of Greater Portland‘s kitten therapy event which they hold once a year at Congress Square Park in downtown Portland.
Obviously there was a pretty big turn out (because who doesn’t want to cuddle kittens on their lunch break), so we had to wait a while, but it was so worth it!
Once it was our turn, we went inside an enclosed space where there were about five baby kitties running around inside. We got to hold them and nuzzle their cute little faces, and it really did lighten up my day.
Check out the video I took on my snap story and feel jealous, feel very jealous. Hopefully another event like this happens again soon, because once a year is not enough.
Kitten cuddles for everyone! It certainly made me want to adopt a kitten. Unfortunately I can’t right now, but if you’re looking to adopt a new friend definitely check out the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland. Some of the little babies that were there are in need of a home!
