(New) “No More Music” For Rihanna

It has been three years since Rihanna blessed the world with her top-charting album, Anti, so the question on everyone’s mind is when is the next album coming out?

Fans have been calling the next album R9 and are in anticipation for any news regarding this next project. However, fans got some  news earlier this week at Rihanna’s Fenty pop-up in NYC, which featured a t-shirt emblazoned with the phrase “No More Music.”

The Rihanna Navy was shook when they saw these t-shirts because they thought that maybe Rihanna is done with music and going to focus on her clothing line. Complex reports, “as alarming as the ‘No More Music’ may read, there’s no indication it’s anything more than a playful trolling.”

According to VICE, “last year, news surfaced that the Anti singer was working on two albums.” Earlier this year, the Barbados singer told T Magazine the new album “could indeed be qualified as a reggae album and may very well take on the fan-given R9 nickname in an official capacity.” Rihanna has also stated that Drake will not be featured in the next upcoming album. Ouch!

When asked by W Magazine about the “No More Music” t-shirts she told the magazine, “please let my fans know that I’m trolling them. You have to get it because it’s a souvenir. That’s the closest you’ll get to music before the album.” Phew! RiRi almost gave her fans a heart attack.
