1. Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day! This day was observed for the first time in 1986 to celebrate the life and achievements of Martin Luther King Jr.

2. Patriots will play the Broncos in Denver for the AFC championship on Sunday. 3:05pm kick off.

3. Yesterday was the last Democratic debate before voting begins in 2 weeks. Frontrunners Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders went head to head about who’s tougher on gun control, Wall Street, and who has a better vision for healthcare.

4. Today, Britain will be having a 3 hour debate on whether Donald Trump should be banned from their country or not. The debate was triggered when more than a half-million people signed an online petition arguing that Trump should be outlawed from visiting Britain because of his call last month to ban Muslims from entering the United States.

5. Construction of a $2 million Competition Center at Sugarloaf is set to begin in May. The 11,000-square-foot center is projected to be completed by November to ensure that the building will be functional by the 2016-2017 winter season. The center will feature a day lodge space, locker rooms, tuning and waxing facilities, office and meeting space, as well as a trainer’s room.
