Yet another concert to be cancelled. Cardi B unfortunately did not take the stage for fans in Indianapolis Tuesday because of a security issue that threatened the rapper’s safety and the venue she was to supposed to perform at.
The rapper was supposed to perform at Bankers Life Field House but less than an hour before the show, which sold-out, the concert was postponed. Obviously, this left many fans angry and upset about the confusing situation.
The cops put out a statement saying “This evening, there was a scheduled concert at Bankers Life. We were notified of an unverified threat to the artist and the artist canceled this evening’s concert – there is no immediate threat to public safety.”
Cardi posted this video on her Instagram apologizing for cancelling the show while she was inside the venue for soundcheck:

The show is set to be rescheduled for September 11th, which is an odd date to reschedule to for obvious reasons. It’s important that the crew putting on the show took the threat seriously because despite not knowing how extreme it was, it potentially could have stopped a similar situation to the Manchester bombing at the Ariana Grande concert. Glad to see nothing bad occurred at this concert.
