Chance has been quiet for a while on the project front, but it looks like that is all going to change this coming July. Thus far, the Chicago rapper has only released free music. Mixtapes such as Acid Rap and Coloring Book did wonders to build and elevate his independent career, and now for the first time he’ll be releasing a project his supporters will have to pay for. Luckily for Chance, he has a rabid fanbase that will certainly be more than willing to do so.
Check out some tweets about the forthcoming album from Chance and his manager, Pat, below.

Iβll always be immensely proud of what I did with Coloring Book. Same Drugs, Summer Friends and Juke Jam are some the realest songs Iβve ever written so u dont have to defend Coloring Book to me. It happened, it made history but I did it already. The album wont be acid rap either
