The Indy 500 will be run without fans for the first time in its 104-year history on August 23 due to coronavirus. In tennis, defending champ Rafael Nadal won’t play in the U.S. Open because of the pandemic. Therefore, Nadal’s attempt to tie Roger Federer’s men’s record of 20 Grand Slam victories will have to wait.
