Artists will no longer be able to freely upload on the streaming app; Spotify. The beta program which allowed artists to upload their work directly to Spotify will be ended. At the end of July, the program will no longer accept new uploads. The program was initially launched after artists requested it, so it would be easier for indie artists; however, the program is ending due to feedback. Those who have released music via the beta program will have it removed.
