Jon Stewart and Pete Davidson will host a comedy show that will also serve as a massive fundraiser for 9/11-related charities. The event takes place on Sunday, Sept. 12th, at New York’s Madison Square Garden. The event will feature a roster of comedians such as Dave Chappelle, Amy Schumer, Bill Burr, Colin Jost, Colin Quinn, Dave Attell, Jay Pharoah, Jimmy Fallon, John Mulaney, Michael Che, Ronny Chieng, Tom Segura, and Wanda Sykes.
Davidson was 7 when his father died in the 9/11 attack, and Stewart has long advocated for the victims, survivors, and first responders still dealing with physical, mental, and financial difficulties. I’m sure this will be an amazing night full of laughter and tears. No cellphones, cameras, or recording devices will be permitted during the show. So many great charities you can donate to, such as 911day.org. Help if you can!
