We already can’t get the Old Town Road remix with Billy Ray Cyrus out of our heads, but now, Lil Nas X makes a call for more remixes. During the weekend, the rapper tweeted:

He sent this tweet out the day after Old Town Road was remixed again with singer/yodeler Mason Ramsey and Young Thug. Watch the video below:

His tweet led multiple artists to respond to his call including Mariah Carey and the rock band Smash Mouth:

Mariah Carey suggested that the rapper’s viral hit should be mashed up with her 1995 mega-hit with Boyz II Men called One Sweet Day. Last week, the song celebrated its 14th week in the Billboard Hot 100. Only two songs have outlasted 14 weeks including Carey’s song One Sweet Day and Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s song Despacito ft. Justin Bieber.
Ramsey joked that we will probably hear more Old Town Road remixes in the future and Lil Nas X knows he probably should release songs other than remixes:

Well, if the song continues to be a hit, why not put new life into the song with more and more remixes? But, hopefully we will be able to get some new songs from Lil Nas X!
