Tons of videos surfaced on Tik Tok of the country star partying with Bama students and no one was wearing a mask, including Morgan. He was set to make his big debut on SNL’ this weekend, but NBC pulled him from the show because his actions make him a Covid risk. Morgan took to social media and issued an apology and told fans he’s stepping away from the spotlight to, “work on me.” “This is a tough video for me to make, but a necessary one… my actions this past weekend were pretty shortsighted and they’ve publicly affected my long-term goals and my dreams.” SNL creator and producer Lorne Michaels told Morgan that they would find another time to have him perform on the show, but no timeline has been set.
