(News) SZA Postpones Philly Show, Opener Still Performs

SZA was set to perform in Philadelphia yesterday but unexpectedly postponed the show. On Tuesday SZA put on an amazing show in front of some Hot Radio Maine winners at the TD Garden in Boston. Wednesday SZA accepted the 2023 Woman of the Year award at the Billboard Women In Music event in Los Angeles. The plan was to travel from Los Angeles for her Thursday performance in Philly. No specific reason for the cancellation was given but a complication in cross-country travel is possible.

SZA tweeted “Phillyyyy I REALLY wanted to see you tonight but due to unforeseen logistical/ production issues we’re FORCED to reschedule.” All tickets will be honored for a rescheduled date.

Tour opener Omar Apollo announced a “secret show” a few hours away at Irving Plaza in New York. The spur of the moment show sold out immediately. SZA’s next tour dates are March 4th and 5th at Madison Square Garden.

Philly missed out on a 10/10 show. Here’s a bit of what we experienced in Boston on Tuesday night…
