(Photo) An Ed Sheeran Statue Appears in Moscow

Talk about a warm welcome! An enormous statue of Ed Sheeran has appeared overnight in Moscow’s Gorky Park. The statue is believed to be 16 feet long and is being used as a promotional tool for Sheeran’s forthcoming concert in the Russian capital.

The statue is a collaboration between Yandex Music and Warner Music Russia. It depicts Sheeran reclining seductively in a pair of sunglasses while dressed in a graffiti-covered shirt and red shorts. The creators also paid attention to detail, replicating his tattoos on his plastic doppelgänger.

The statue is a very flattering gesture to be welcomed into a country, but it would also be a bit frightening to see yourself as a statue that large in the middle of a park.
