Everyone loves watching a reboot, even though we already know it won’t be as good as the original. But, some movies and shows just shouldn’t be touched. In the latest news of reboots, Disney plans on rebooting the classic Home Alone franchise.
Many fans took to social media to let Disney know that it’s basically a terrible idea and that they are going to ruin the franchise:

Fans are not the only ones commenting on this news. The original Kevin McCallister himself shared a photo on his Instagram of himself looking bloated, sitting on an old couch, plate of food in hand, Chinese takeout everywhere, and a laptop on his lap.

Disney’s CEO Bob Iger should probably take this as a hint. If the ORIGINAL Kevin McCallister is mocking the news, it’s probably not a good idea to reboot the movie…
