Last night at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, the stars were out in abundance for MTV’s annual VMAs. While her 7 minute medley of hits was certainly one of the highlights of the night, Missy Elliot was also the recipient of the prestigious Video Vanguard Award.
Amongst the other performances throughout the night were some of 2019’s biggest stars, including Lil Nas X with his latest hit “Panini,” Lizzo who of course had to hurt us with the truth, and Megan Thee Stallion kicked things off at the pre-show, reminding us all that Hot Girl Summer is far from over.
