Can you imagine eating at your favorite BBQ restaurant on a Monday night and Khalid walks in? Well that was the reality for some people at the Smoke BBQ Restaurant in San Antonio.
The singer is making a “Free Spirit World Tour” stop at the AT&T Center and decided to make a stop with a group of friends for some BBQ. The Smoke Owner Adrian Martinez said the singer showed up around 7 pm Monday, ordered the Pit Master Feast, and signed himself up for karaoke under the name “Roger”.
Martinez said he was very “unsuspecting” and didn’t start attracting attention until he started singing Miguel’s Sure Thing. He also covered three more songs for the small crowd. Watch the video below:

By the time he was done singing, restaurant staff gathered in the dining room waiting to take pictures with the singer. The owner said “It was such an amazing experience, … He is an awesome dude, really humble.”
When he comes to Boston and if he happened to be in the same restaurant as us, we’d like to think we’d play it cool and go up to him. But, in reality, most of us would probably be freaking out on the inside.
