The Best Buddies Champion of the Year Gala is a competitive fundraising campaign and auction that is our primary fundraising for the year. Champion Candidates commit to raising funds and awareness for Best Buddies throughout their 10-week campaign, which culminates on October 24th at the Gala. At the Best Buddies Champion of the Year Gala, we honor the Champions’ collective impact over the last 10 weeks and announce the winner of the fundraising competition. There is a silent and live auction, performances by members of the disability community, and a wickedly inclusive dance party to cap the night off.
