1. UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was shot and killed Wednesday morning. Thompson was walking to a hotel in Manhattan that was hosting a UnitedHealthcare conference when a gunman fired multiple times from 20 feet away. The shooter is still at large. A $10,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the masked shooter’s arrest. (CNN)
2. The Portland Police Department announced Wednesday that an arrest has been made in connection with a murder that happened on Marshall Street over the weekend. The suspect was arrested Tuesday at the Walmart Supercenter in Scarborough and was transported to the Cumberland County Jail. (WMTW)
