1. It’s up to a judge to decide what happens to a teen accused of plotting a mass shooting at SoPo High.  A witness testified Tuesday that the suspect told her about his obsession with Columbine. The same type of gun used in Columbine was found in the suspect’s home. (WGME)

2. Toxic blue-green algae is blooming at Hinckley Park in South Portland.  This type of algae can kill dogs if ingested. While the bloom is active people should stay out of the water and keep their dogs from drinking or swimming in the ponds. (WGME)

3. Town officials in Harpswell say the dead whale carcass, which was found Monday afternoon near Cribstone Bridge, will be removed today. The carcass will be taken to Benson Farm in Gorham, which recently took in another whale carcass for composting. (WGME)

4. The first Presidential Debate will take place at 9pm tomorrow night on CNN.  Biden and Trump’s microphones will be muted unless a candidate is picked to speak. Biden won the coin toss and chose the podium to the right. Trump will get the final statement. (NPR)

5. Post Malone is set to return to Maine for the first time since he opened for Fat Joe and Ty Dolla Sign at our Hot Summer 2016 in Portland.  This time he’ll be headlining with a country set at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor on September 16th.< Made Hot in Maine by the Law Offices of Joe Bornstein. Accidents happen… to be their specialty. 207-CALL-JOE or online at: joebornstein.com.
