1. All RSU 13 schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday after a student was fatally struck by a school bus Friday afternoon in Rockland. South School and OHS will open for a few hours both days to offer counseling and grieving services. Thomaston’s police chief says RSU 13 leadership and Rockland and Thomaston police are jointly investigating the incident. (WGME)
2. Portland Police arrested 48-year-old Donald Cousino after an unprovoked stabbing in Longfellow Square Park. A 66-year-old Freeport man suffered life-threatening facial wounds and was taken to Maine Medical Center. Cousino is charged with aggravated assault and held on $5,000 bail.
3. Five teams went head-to-head in the Boothbay Harbor Bed Races this weekend, pushing decorated, wheeled beds with one rider aboard. The beloved local tradition crowned “The Inns at Greenleaf Lane” as the fastest, with the Boothbay Region High School cheerleaders taking second place. (WGME)

Select McDonald’s locations are rolling out a new meal that might make your heart grow three sizes. ‘The Grinch Meal’, a collab with Dr. Seuss Enterprises, comes with your choice of ten McNuggets or Big Mac, a drink and the new Dill Pickle “Grinch Salt” McShaker Fries, briny seasoning you toss onto your fries. The meal even comes with a pair of Grinch-themed socks printed with a message from the Grinch himself.
5. Hot Radio Maine’s 13th Annual Free Turkey Giveaway is tomorrow at the Wells IGA (1517 Post Road) starting at 11AM. We’ll be giving away 200 Free Turkeys starting at 11AM. First come. First Serve. This year we’ve partnered with Maine Credit Unions Campaign For Ending Hunger. An additional 100 Turkeys this year will be provided by That Place in Ogunquit. This year sides will be provided by M.C.
