2. Wayne Robert Ingham, from the Mexico area, is wanted for multiple charges. In a Facebook post, the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office encouraged Ingham to turn himself in, writing: “TURN YOURSELF IN BRO! You must be able to see this on 1 of your 4 Facebook accounts!” (WGME)

4. More high school football players in Maine are wearing protective Guardian Caps in practice compared to past seasons. At least 16 of the 79 varsity high school football teams in Maine – about 20% – are using the 7-ounce Guardian Caps in practice. Two years ago, only three Maine teams were known to wear them.Just one team in the state – Mount View High in Thorndike – is requiring its players to wear the caps during games as well. (PH)
5. Entertainment Luxury Cinemas has opened in the former Cinemagic at Clark’s Pond in South Portland, with big plans to expand and build a multifaceted theater complex. The developers of the Rock Row complex in Westbrook have signed a long-term lease with Cinemark Theaters to open a 12-screen movie theater by the end of 2026. (PH)
