Bags For Books went down on Friday, 9/26 at Coastal Remedies and their sister shops. Ryan Deelon broadcasted live from 5p-7p as the celebration brought together local vendors, food, DJs, and plenty of deals to close out summer and kick off the school year.
All September, Coastal Remedies ran a $500 “Bags For Books” giveaway, where students could enter by stopping by a shop and presenting a valid college ID.
On event day, Ryan was live at Coastal Remedies, while Hayley visited sister stores Kind Acres in Biddeford and Purple Co in Portland. Vendors featured on-site at Coastal Remedies included Mainely Rooted, Faded, and Living Matter.
Beyond the fun and prizes, the focus was on supporting local—local vendors, local dispensaries, and Maine-made products.
