Today for If You Can Hear Her, You Can Be Her, I spoke with Nadine Molloy, founder of the No Bowl Empty 2 Pet Food Pantry!
Nadine shared how her lifelong love of animals inspired her to take action 11 years ago, creating a resource for pet owners who were struggling to afford food. What started as a small effort has grown into a major community resource, now operating out of her garage and feeding nearly 4,000 pets each month!
The pantry runs on a judgment-free model, providing a month’s supply of pet food to anyone in need. Nadine emphasized that the goal is simple: keep pets in their homes and out of shelters by supporting the people who love them.
Throughout the years, Nadine has witnessed countless impactful moments. One that stands out is helping an elderly woman who had been eating cat food so her pet could eat – a reminder of just how critical this resource can be for both animals and their owners.
In addition to providing food, No Bowl Empty offers expanded services such as home delivery and free vaccine clinics, further supporting the community!
Nadine’s message to young women is to follow their passions and trust that even small ideas can grow into something that makes a real difference.
