The 2019 wrestling movie “Fighting With My Family” is officially heading to the stage as a brand-new musical! The original film tells the true story of WWE superstar Paige and her incredible rise to American stardom.

Writer and director Stephen Merchant says he always envisioned the story as a musical! He approached every wrestling match in the movie like a dance number and calls this stage adaptation the “natural next step.”

Former co-star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson fully supports the new project! He promises the show will be an “absolute blast” for theatre-goers, and producers plan to announce more details soon.
