1. At least 132 people are dead after a powerful earthquake struck western Colombia Monday. Buildings collapsed across the region, including at least 25 in the major city of Cali, where rescue crews are still searching for people trapped in the rubble. Officials are also warning of potentially dangerous aftershocks. (CNBC)

2. Maine is now officially part of a multistate outbreak of cyclosporiasis linked to recalled iceberg lettuce. The Maine CDC has identified 27 cases this year, including 10 directly tied to the Taylor Farms recall. Nationwide, more than 6,350 cases have been confirmed, with nearly 280 hospitalizations and two deaths. (PH)

3. A longtime Maine lifeguard says he was dragged 5 to 6 feet underwater by a great white shark at Scarborough Beach State Park Saturday. Greg Wilfert was attached to a rescue flotation device when the shark apparently grabbed it and pulled him under. He managed to free himself and swim safely back to shore. The beach is now limiting swimmers to waist-deep water as officials monitor continued shark activity. (WMTW)

4. Jersey Mike’s has knocked Chick-fil-A out of the top spot as America’s highest-rated fast-food chain. The latest customer satisfaction rankings gave Jersey Mike’s an 84, just ahead of Chick-fil-A at 83. Chick-fil-A had held the top overall spot for more than a decade. (ET)
