Peacock has officially greenlit the first live-action television series based on the Fast & Furious franchise! The currently untitled show is scheduled to premiere in 2028 and marks a major expansion from previous animated projects.
Vin Diesel is stepping in as an executive producer and said fans want to see further exploration of the characters and legacy through television. Diesel emphasized the importance of maintaining the integrity of the films and ensuring the core theme of family is preserved in the new adaptation.
The final film in the Fast & Furious movie series, titled “Fast Forever,” is set to release on March 17, 2028, coinciding with the anticipated television debut!
