1. 40 Firefighters from 7 towns worked through the night to contain a woods fire in Windham on Thursday. The fire was at least 2 acres in size and was near an auto shop at the intersection of Route 115 and Route 202. (WMTW)
2. Portland is in the middle of its 10 day Pride celebrations. The city is responding to security concerns. Mayor Strimling says attacks like the mass shooting in Orlando are very scary, but he hopes it won’t stop people from coming out to celebrate on Saturday. The Portland Pride Parade starts Saturday at noon in Monument Square, and continues on Congress Street, down high street and into Deering Oaks Park. (WCSH)
3. A Unum employee and a pro-U.S. labor website say the insurance company is considering outsourcing hundreds of information technology jobs. The employee said more than 200 IT workers in the Portland office could be affected. (PH)
4. The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Golden State Warriors 115-101 in Game 6 last night, tying the series at 3-3 and forcing a Game 7. LeBron James had 41 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. On the Warriors’ side, Steph Curry scored 30–but fouled out at the end of the game and was ejected for throwing his mouthpiece. (SI)
