The 2017 XXL freshman cover came in last week to mixed reviews as always. It seems as though every year, no matter what they do or who they choose, XXL cannot satisfy everyone with their choices for their annual freshman cover.
Of the artists that they chose (Kamaiyah, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, PnB Rock, Madeintyo, Playboi Carti, Aminé, Kap G, Kyle, Ugly God and XXXTentacion) one of these who fans seem to all agree with was A Boogie. This past year almost guaranteed him a spot on this list, after two very good projects (Artist and TBA) as well as opening up for Drake during the New York Dates of his Summer Sixteen Tour last fall.
Now, as a member of the 2017 XXL Freshman Class, A Boogie has released his acapella freestyle, the first one to do so out of his class. Take a look below and let us know what you think!
