Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are planning to expand their family and have hired a surrogate to carry their 3rd child. Kim made it clear she was looking to have another baby on an episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians, but her doctors have advised her to take caution about the health risks she could be facing if she were to carry another child. During her last pregnancy, she suffered from placenta accreta, where the placenta grows right into the side of the womb, making it difficult for it to detach at the time of birth. In one of Kim’s blogs, she explained how painful the process was with her condition.
“I can’t carry anymore kids … it’s the worst. It’s not going to be happy for me.. I had a full break down … I give up.” Kim told her friend Jonathan. She also said to her mother on the show, “I’ve come to the conclusion in my mind that I can’t carry another one. So now I want to explore surrogacy.” Kim’s sister, Khloe Kardashian, and her friend, Chrissy Teigen, have both offered to be the surrogate for Kim’s third child. “I would be her surrogate in a second,” Chrissy announces. “I really enjoyed the pregnancy process, I loved it. Yes. In a heartbeat.”
