Migos rapper Offset was arrested for gun and drug possession outside of Atlanta, Georgia, over the weekend–just 10 days after his wife Cardi B gave birth to their daughter Kulture.
Reports say that Offset was pulled over for allegedly making an improper lane change where police then smelled marijuana and searched his car. Three handguns were found, less than an ounce of weed and $107,000 in cash.
Offset, who is a convicted felon, was charged with improper lane change, possession of marijuana, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime. He was released after posting $17,000 on Saturday.
Cardi posted on her gram story to confirm he was home. Offset’s lawyer quoted ” The rapper was targeted because he’s black and successful. ”
