Wells, ME – Mainestream Media’s WHTP-Hot 104.7 had their 7th annual turkey give-away. This year’s give-away was in conjunction with Maine’s Credit Unions and the Wells IGA, which also hosted the event on Monday November 25th. Hot 104.7 gave away over 100 turkeys to those in need and likely crossed the 1,000 total turkey mark in the history of the charity give-away.
Hot 104.7 broadcasted live from the Wells IGA with free prizes, tickets, games and more. Hot 104.7 Program Director and Morning Host Ryan Deelon said about the event, “We’re excited to have had our 7th annual turkey give-away. It started as a great idea to support as many families as we could and has turned into an annual event that we’re proud to put on. We’re thankful for our partners at Maine’s Credit Unions and the Wells IGA for helping us give back to the community.
