4. Tirdy Works, A TV show about a Maine woman who makes art and other knick knacks out of moose droppings will premiere today on truTV. “In order to make all their dreams come true, Mary must bring the townspeople together to help her growing business, all the while juggling her family and a house full of turds,” according to the synopsis on truTV’s website.

5. Cinco de Mayo. Today, the “fifth of May,” is the day to celebrate Mexican culture, language and heritage. A day that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s May 5, 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. In 2005, the United States Congress issued a resolution inviting the President to encourage citizens to celebrate the day. Have a few drinks and enjoy Mexican food today.
