Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello is having a field day online with trolls who challenge him on his political views. “I used to be a fan until your political views come out… the last thing I want to hear is political bs,” wrote one “fan.” “What music of mine were you a fan of that DIDN’T contain “political BS”… so I can delete it from the catalog,” Morello clapped back. “What “machine” did you think he was raging against? The dishwasher?” tweeted an incredulous fan. Another fan posted that Morello was “another successful musician instantly [becoming] a political expert.” Morello pointed out that he in fact had graduated Harvard University with honors and a degree in political science.
