On Monday, Kanye West tweeted that he had a new vision for the video-sharing social media app TikTok. “A vision just came to me… Jesus Tok,” the rapper said. “As a Christian father I was disturbed by a lot of the content but completely loved the technology,” he said. The rapper prayed “we” could collab with the app “to make a Christian-monitored version that feels safe for young children and the world,” he tweeted. Twitter users were quick to post their own visions of Jesus Tok, using gifts, video clips and jokes. “Who’s the idiot who called it “Jesus Tok” and not “DiVine,” said The Daily Show’s Matt Negrin, referencing the now defunct clip-sharing app Vine.
