(News) Tory Lanez Charged with Felony Assault in Shooting of Megan Thee Stallion

On Thursday, Tory Lanez was charged in connection with the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office hit Lanez with one count of assault, one count of carrying a loaded, unregistered weapon in a vehicle, and allegations of inflicting great bodily injury. If convicted, Lanez could spend almost 23 years in jail. The charges stem from an incident in July where Lanez reportedly shot Meg in the foot. After tons of speculation, Megan eventually went on social media and said Tory did it. Sources close to Lanez believe his defense will be that the shooting was accidental. His arraignment is set for October 13th.
