Miley Cyrus was a highlight of Lollapalooza for many. Cyrus’ two-hour set also included appearances by Wiz Khalifa, G Herbo and even the Chicago Bulls mascot Benny the Bull. “We know there’s light at the end of the tunnel,” Cyrus told the crowd, “and Lolla is the light for many of us.”
Machine Gun Kelly gave a surprise performance at Lollapalooza on Saturday. TMZ says a crowd with “20 times the number of people permitted” packed in to see MGK perform on the Bud Light Seltzer side stage only an hour after his set was announced.
I guess Fred Durst wasn’t kidding when he debuted a new look on Instagram last week, sporting wavy salt and pepper locks and a handlebar mustache. Durst’s look seemed to overshadow his band’s 10-song set, with Twitter trying to figure out the frontman’s aesthetic. Comments included “Fred Durst looks like the owner of the haunted record store Scooby and the gang investigate and find out it was him all along”, “I love that Fred Durst just looks like he lives in the Beastie Boys “Sabotage” music video” and “Fred Durst looks like [wrestler and Fozzy singer] Chris Jericho filmingUndercover Boss.”
