1. A body discovered Sunday in Wyoming national park is believed to be Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito, who disappeared while on a cross-country trek with a boyfriend who has been identified by authorities as a person of interest. The cause of death has not yet been determined. (WMTW)
2. The Maine CDC reported 207 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 statewide on Sunday, equaling the record high set on Jan. 13. Seventy-nine of those people were in intensive care and 32 on ventilators. The number of ICU patients is also a record for the pandemic. (PRESS)
3. Pfizer said today its COVID-19 vaccine works for children ages 5 to 11 and that it will seek U.S. authorization for this age group. (PRESS)
4. A $78 million new engineering building at the University of Maine in Orono is nearly complete. Students from all eleven engineering and technology majors will be able to come and work together at the center. Currently, roughly 350 engineering students graduate per year. The University thinks that with this new building that number could get up to 450-500. (NEWS CENTER)
