1. State regulators are opening a full investigation into CMP’s management practices. The Public Utilities Commission wants to know if CMP’s parent company was driven by profit instead of customer’s needs.
2. South Portland officials are connecting a drastic increase in crime to temporary housing. A letter from the city manager says there’s been a dramatic increase in calls for police, fire and EMS to and around four hotels housing homeless and asylum seekers since the start of the pandemic.
3. After 11 years The University of Maine and men’s basketball head coach Richard Barron have agreed to ‘part ways.’ Barron said in a release that he will leave with some “regret … that I was not successful in turning around the men’s program.”

Swipe right to locate, “Would you like to see a summary of how you use Uber.” Scroll to “Browse your data” section and hit on View my ratings.” There you will see how many five-star, one-star and in-between-star rides you have.
